About Us

Talbert’s educational background includes a Bachelors and Masters Degree in Adult/Business Education from Georgia Southern University. His knowledge base in financial planning includes the completion of the following courses through the American College in Bryn Mawr, PA: Income Taxation, Planning for Retirement Needs, Fundamentals of Estate Planning, Insurance for Financial Planning, Individual Life Insurance, Fundamentals of Investments for Financial Planning, Life Insurance Law, Planning for Business Owners and Professionals.
 
Talbert is a Certified Financial Planner™ practioner and a Chartered Life Underwriter™.
 
Talbert is married to Roni Edenfield and they have lived in Guyton for the past 20 years. Roni is the Instructional Supervisor at Ebenezer Middle School. They have two children, Aaron and Amelia. Aaron is the Alternative Transportation Coordinator for Georgia Tech and is also a graduate of Georgia Tech. Amelia is in a Senior at Effingham County High School .
 

Talbert currently volunteers in the community by serving on Mission on the Move's Board of Directors, Effingham County Chamber of Commerce's Board of Directors and as a member and former president for the Rotary Club of Effingham County. Edenfield Financial Services is also a member of the Georgia Chamber of Commerce.
